SYNOPSIS

This is the story of a poet who loved literature and enjoyed poetry. Yoon Dong-Ju, he was a tragic poet who died young before the end of Korea's darkest hour and could not see the moment he had longed for in his short life. This interactive film was made to understand the era through Yoon Dong-Ju's poetry containing his life story. Although his death was tragic, we honoured his noble sacrifice by making use of the setting of his dream to fulfill Yoon Dong-Ju's longest wish. When the audience directly opens the manuscript of Yoon Dong-Ju, his life is recited through his poems. The train heading for Gyeongseong crossing the sea implies Dongju went to Gyeongseong expecting to study literature, but he could never return home from prison in a foreign country across the sea. The fragments of his memories reborn in sync with each poem are reminiscences of his past, and his dream begins in a small room showing hauntingly realistic future. In the end, Dong-Ju's dream ends in world where winter has passed and the spring he longed of has arrived, and along with Dong-Ju, the audience flies the night sky sprinkled with countless stars.
