(선비의 철학을 담다, 함안 무기연당) Mugi Lotus Pond of Haman (Important Folklore Cultural Heritage No. 208) A pond in the birthplace of Ju Jae-seong, a scholar and righteous army leader of Joseon. Gukdam Pond A round island was built in the square pond to display a world-view of round sky and square ground. Ju Jae-seong took the name of this pond Gukdam as his pen-name, and lived in retirement devoting to studying at this place.
