Cold energy in the north is protected by pine trees Mansongjeong Forest in Andong Hahoe Village Andong Hahoe Village Located at the heart of the topography around which the Nakdong River winds, Andong Hahoe Village was registered for UNESCO World Heritage List in 2010. Mansongjeong Forest in Andong Hahoe Village Natural Monument No. 473 Mansongjeong Forest, an artificial forest located in the north of Andong Hahoe Village is constructed with 10,000 pine trees which are planted to protect strong energy from Buyongdae. Buyongdae Buyongdae, a 64-meter-tall cliff is regarded as an ominous cliff in terms of Feng Shui, or geomantic principles. Indeed, the strong northwesterly winds from Buyongdae takes a tollon the village. It is the Mansongjeong Forest which is formulated as a windbreak to protect the damage. Walking along the forest, you can feel the wishes of the village's residents who cared the trees praying for the peace and stability of the village. At the northern riverside of the Hahoe Village, there is a forest made by people, which faces opposite humans.
